The 2019 Manayunk Bike Races 2022 will take place on Saturday, May 12th starting at 8am and wrapping up around 2pm. The course runs along FDR Park in Philadelphia, PA (just south of City Hall). You can register here if you want to participate: https://www.manayunkbikerace.com/register/.
- Where is the course? What time does it start?
The course starts downtown at 10th Street & Chestnut Streets and ends near Independence Mall East at 15th Street & JFK Blvd.. It takes about 1 hour 15 minutes total including rest stops along the way! We suggest using public transportation if possible since parking can be limited during peak hours (8am -11:45am).
When – June 4, 2022
The race is scheduled to take place on June 4, 2022.
The race will be the first appearance of Formula E in the United States and will take place on a 2.2-mile track through Long Beach’s downtown area. The date is set for June 4, 2022. Long Beach is one of three American cities to host an FIA Formula E race, joining Brooklyn’s Red Hook Park (which hosted its first race in 2017) and Miami’s Biscayne Bay Park (which hosts its first event this season).
Where – Main Street, Philadelphia, PA
The Main Street Bike Race is a unique event in the world. It’s like an obstacle course, but with bikes! The course starts at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and winds its way through historic neighborhood streets, up and down hills, around corners and across bridges.
All racers start from either 25th Street or Chestnut Street at 6:00 PM on Saturday evening (June 23rd). The course will be closed for runners until 9:00 AM on Sunday morning – meaning that you’ll need to find a place to stay overnight near by if you don’t want to drive back home after your ride!

The Manayunk Bike Race 2022 will begin at 8am on Sunday, April 23rd. This is a charity event that benefits the Manayunk Bike Race Foundation and its mission of providing youth cycling opportunities in Philadelphia’s West Park neighborhood.

The course will be a fast, mostly flat 6.5 mile loop around the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia. This is an out-and-back route, so you can either ride it once or twice for a longer ride! The first lap will begin at 8am and last for about an hour, but there’s no official cutoff time for finishing your second lap.
