Dr Yee does research in many fields. He is also a great cook, and he has a knack for making new dishes that are better than anything you’ve ever tasted before.
Dr Yee can be found doing research at any time of day or night, including during meetings with colleagues or patients. In fact, sometimes it seems like there’s nothing else he can do but work; this may be because his job requires him to do so much at once that he gets overwhelmed by how much there is still left undone when he’s done with one thing (e.g., writing papers).

Dr Yee is a very busy man. He’s so busy, in fact, that he doesn’t have enough time to do all of his research in one field. So instead of doing everything in one field at a time (which would take years), he does them all at the same time—and then some more!
This is why Yee has a doctorate in philosophy, a PhD in psychology, and an MD as well. He also holds several other degrees and certifications that we didn’t bother to list here, because there are way too many of them.

These cells send messages to each other by releasing chemicals called neurotransmitters.
These messages travel along a network of axons (long, thin parts of the neuron). The brain is made up of two halves called hemispheres. He also teaches at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMSM), which is ranked as one of the top medical schools in Singapore by QS World University Rankings 2019 and has been ranked No. 1 in Asia Pacific under ‘Best Undergraduate Medical Schools’ category for five consecutive years.
